Beatrix is pretty much a staple in my family. We enjoy eating here for both breakfast and dinner. We recently visited for family dinner when we had relatives visiting. We enjoyed the Kennebec Fries and Popovers for starters. My family enjoyed the fries so much that another order was requested when the entrees came. 3 of my family members tried the spirit-free mocktails, and they were pleasantly surprised at how tasty and refreshing they were. For my entrée, I couldn't decide between the Wild Mushroom Teriyaki Bowl and the Faroe Island Salmon Bowl, so I asked our server for a recommendation. She said she enjoyed the flavor of the mushroom bowl the best but recommended adding salmon to it. That's exactly what I did, and I was not disappointed. My Dad typically orders the Mushroom & Quinoa Burger, and though he always enjoys it, after I let her taste my mushroom bowl, he said he would order that next time. I took a slice of Hummingbird Cake home. Our server described it as a carrot cake with warm spices, and she was spot on. It was a great way to cap off an already tasty meal. While I don't recall our server's name, I must say that she was extremely knowledgeable. She was able to answer every question we asked (and our table asked A LOT lol), but she answered in great detail. She knew flavor profiles about everything from the beer to the desserts and everything in between. We enjoyed her so much that my uncle even asked her to take a picture with him afterward. She was super sweet! I look forward to visiting again soon! #ImNotAFoodie #ImJustAGirlWhoLovesFood #YelpEliteSquad

My wife brought me here for my birthday dinner, which was quite a feat because whenever we go out as a family, we have to be very intentional. My wife is vegan, my mother has a gluten allergy, my daughter is an incredibly picky eater, and I am an extreme foodie and elitist eater . So, there's a lot of balancing that needs to happen to satisfy everyone's palates. This place was wonderful. I love how you come in, and there is a casual seating and waiting area. Our setting was one big table with chairs on one side and a very comfortable sort of couch on the other, which made for a great family experience. The vibe is youthful and busy, but not chaotic. The Brussels sprouts and buffalo meatballs were consumed just as quickly as they arrived at the table, and we ordered another of each. My wife enjoyed the vegan teriyaki bowl, which she said was filling and had lots of flavor. I had the short rib, which was everything I wanted: well-seasoned, tender, and paired extraordinarily well with the sweet potato. It was a great dish! My mother was overwhelmed (in the best way) by the number of gluten-free options and loved the fish tacos. My daughter demolished her chicken fingers and french fries. For dessert, I had the caramel pie, and since it was my birthday and I INHALED that thing (it was so good), I ordered another slice to go. I 100% recommend this place, especially if you have different dietary needs in your party. I strongly recommend making reservations, though, as the place is busy. But having enjoyed my experience, I completely understand why!

Mother's Day @ 6 pm. Reservation for 8. Seated immediately. Great service! Started with white cheddar popovers, and sweet corn and green chili queso. Both were delicious. Entrees included: blackened fish tacos, prime burger, straight A salad with chicken, wild mushroom teriyaki bowl, faroe islands salmon bowl, and strip steak chimichurri. Everyone enjoyed their meals. (I would post pictures, but I was so excited when the food was delivered, I forgot to take pictures! You'll have to take my word for it when I tell you everything was beautiful!) One of our diners ordered the short rib, and at the last minute, the manager came to our table to inform us that they had run out of short ribs. He offered our granddaughter any item on the menu at no charge. What a class act! He could have offered a free dessert, or simply apologized....but to let her pick anything, and comp her meal...now that's the way to get a five star review...and win a forever customer! We also had desserts including: chocolate chunk cookie, cinnamon roll cookie, vegan chocolate chip cookie, oh my caramel pie, and tall, dark, and handsome chocolate cake. All amazing! So in a nutshell...great service, great food, great handling of a small problem by management. Check was just around $300 before tip for 8 people (and that's with one entree not being charged for) so not cheap...but as the old saying goes...you get what you pay for....and we would not hesitate to recommend this place!

Love the atmosphere. The front half is an upscale coffee and bar area with an amazing assortment of pastries. The back half of the restaurant is casual and low key, it's a very comfortable place. I ordered the hot honey chicken dinner with fries. Loved it, especially the hot honey side sauce. Our server was wonderful, helpful with the menu and great service! It made the meal. The music is alternative, and a nice vibe. Highly recommend this place!

A great, healthy lunch spot for a bite to eat or a drink! I came here with my mom (vegan) and they had a lot of wonderful options for her. The service was prompt and really considerate of her food limitations. The restaurant had a cool hipster vibe, and was super spacious! Even more so than the locations in Chicago. We would definitely come back. I especially loved the mushroom quinoa burger. There was a nice big bar area with fun cocktail options, too!

Met a friend here for brunch and who knew it was the hottest spot in town??? Okay well she did which is why she made a reservation weeks in advance, and I recommend you do the same! I couldn't believe when I showed up just before 11 am on a Sunday the place was PACKED! Luckily we were seated within minutes of our reservation and the table was spacious! Everything was fantastic. The coffees were incredible. My friend had a cinnamon roll latte and got a dulce de leche iced latte to go. I had the iced hazelnut oat mocha and it was so creamy and delicious!! Funny enough we ordered the exact same thing to eat: their bacon cheddar and egg sandwich! I was most intrigued about the brown sugar bacon so I took a bite of that first and it was SO good. The sandwich was great and I used the aioli without finding it spicy (and I find everything spicy). We both ordered hash brown sides as well which were large portions. I would recommend if you like yours crispy to ask for them crispy. As you can see in the attached pic, ours came out with varying amounts of crispiness. Overall they had lots of good options and I hope to come back soon!

We came here on a Saturday morning around 10 AM and got seated immediately. The place had plenty of tables open, but had a really nice energy. This is my first time here, and I absolutely loved it! All of our food was amazing. The only thing that I was slightly disappointed on, was the baked French toast. I felt that it was a little bit dry, and over baked. But once you put some compot and syrup on it, it docked it up and was great. Everything else was also amazing, and I definitely look forward to coming back here for dinner.

Came in for Christmas Eve dinner and seated right on time with 5:00 reservations. We ordered and then I went to the bakery to grab some goods to go ahead of time. Be productive while watching my family was all on their phones anyways. I bought a 6 pack box of cookies( $19.99). This makes the perfect gift for someone btw. They are huge. Larger than crumble. The box is cute too! It works out being a better price. The lemon was going to be my favorite ( $5.95) - it was up there but don't ask me to pick favorites when it comes to cookies. Strangely the cream cheese coffee cake cookie, I kind of ate it so quick I didn't even get to share it. My family loved the almond joy. It tasted just like the candy bar. The Nutella I thought would be our youngest son's fave but he was like " gimme more of the almond joy". As for the dark chocolate chip cookie. Standard and tasty. Oh whoops, I started with dessert. That's right we did eat dinner first... I ordered the whitefish with fries on the side vs mashed potatoes. It was so soft and moist. Sitting on top of the dreamiest lemon butter sauce with a few cubed tomatoes and a sprig of chicory I think on top. It was truly delishous. So delishous i let go of the cold fries. Until my husband chimed in after our 16 yo said my chicken tortillas or whatever that was, I don't even feel like I ate. So I let him have my fries. Then the cold part kicked in :( I'm kind of a fry freak so when I eat them which I don't do often because I watch what I eat pretty carefully. I want them hot, salted just right and easy to not stop eating. So that was a bummer. My husband was irritated about the minimal portions for the price. Then there was a 3% added onto total bill before tip which put him over the edge I do love their mushroom burger so next time I'm just going to grab one to go and get the bakery to go to. We did not go to bed hungry. We ate 5 cookies ( I may have eaten 2 by myself as we were walking to the car through the mall ;) I love this place. The inside is cool and the food is great. The 4 is for the cold fries and the amount of food for the cost. I know I could have said something about the fries but I didn't want to make a scene which unfortunately turned into one.
